When should I expect to receive my new 4G USB cellular adapter?

After you claim your new 4G USB cellular adapter, it should arrive in approximately 2-4 weeks. If you do not receive your equipment during that timeframe, please call our assistence.

Will my implanted device be impacted by this change?

Updating from a 3G to a 4G USB cellular adapter does not impact your implanted device.

What happens if I don’t upgrade my cellular adapter from 3G to 4G before the deadline?

If you don’t upgrade your 3G USB cellular adapter, your Communicator will no longer be able to send your implanted cardiac device data to the healthcare provider that monitors your device.

I need help ordering my 4G USB cellular adapter. Where can I go?

What should I expect to receive?

The upgraded adapter includes the following: USB cable extension cord and 4G USB cellular adapter.

What should I do when I receive my new 4G USB cellular adapter?

The adapter will arrive activated and ready for setup. Please follow the setup instructions included with your 4G USB cellular adapter.

Does this change impact my personal cell phone or personal cell service?

No. The cellular service provided by your LATITUDE USB cellular adapter is exclusive to your LATITUDE Communicator and is separate from any personal cellular plan or devices you have.

What should I do with my old 3G USB cellular adapter?

Once you’ve completed your 4G USB cellular adapter setup, you no longer need your 3G USB cellular adapter. Feel free to dispose of your 3G USB cellular adapter. Please be mindful of local regulations for electronics disposal and recycling.

Does the new cellular adapter cost money?

No, The new 4G USB cellular adapter is provided to you at no charge. There are no monthly charges associated with your 4G USB cellular adapter.
